Founded in 1967, the Cinema Theatre Association promotes interest in and study of our important heritage of cinema buildings - from “flea-pit” to multiplex. The Association also campaigns for the preservation of the finest of the remaining historic examples. Visits for members to cinemas (and theatres) are arranged. and members receive a bi-monthly bulletin of news and events and a fully illustrated annual, “Picture House”.

The London Underground Railway Society exists to study all areas of London’s Underground Railway- past, present and future. The LURS was founded in 1961 & has been growing ever since.
